Inspired by the retro industrial aesthetic of the post World War 2 era and manufactured using many of the techniques from that time, this timer features a convenient magnetic back, and winds up with a simple twist - no batteries required

As this is an old fashioned mechanical timer, this gorgeous timer requires you to wind it up in order to gain the momentum to ensure the bell rings beautifully at the end. Simply twist the dial from zero all the way around as far as it will go, then wind it back to the time you would like it to count down from. Pop it on a counter or stick the magnet to your fridge and wait for the lovely trill of the bell when the timer is done.

Please note: these are manual mechanical timers so to ensure the bell rings at the end as it should they need to be "wound up" to ensure there is enough momentum for the timer to tick down and the bell to ring. Super simple, just wind all the way around from zero as far as it will go and then wind back to the time you want to count down from. If you don't wind all the way around first the timer may not ring properly. This is not a design fault it is simply the way mechanical timers work.
